Safety conditions in the use of gas cylinders:
- Choose the right and safe place for the cylinder and preferably be away from cooking sites, well ventilated and away from direct sun heat and sources of sparks.
- Do not place the gas cylinder inside the kitchen near the fireplace and the distance between the stove and gas cylinder should not be less than (m2) twice.
- Do not store flammable or combustible materials such as oil, wood, oil, or paper near gas cylinders.
- Do not roll or throw gas cylinders even if they are empty.
- When moving the cylinder, it must be installed firmly and vertically so that it is less able to move during the twisting or sudden stop.
- The gas hose must comply with specifications and bear pressure of at least 9 bar and free of defects.
- The connecting hose between the cylinder and the cooker must be installed by the mounting rings and be tightened to an appropriate extent that does not damage the hose.
- The use of matches or lighters is prohibited to test the leakage of gas from the cylinder and the use of water and soap
- The gas burner and gas burner must be maintained continuously and ensure that it is clean and that the gas outlets are not clogged.
- The usage and maintenance instructions for the gas burner should be reviewed and verified to be in accordance with the Palestinian specifications and for LPG
- Avoid using spark plugs that only spark out to increase safety.
- Equip the ignition tool and then open the gas in the burner, oven and more
- Be sure to close the gas cooker keys and the gas source after use.
- It is recommended to install a high quality gas leak detector, with periodic inspection and maintenance.
